Founded in 1966 by Richard Pratkanis, Hiland Pharmacy began as a family run corner drugstore offering more than just prescriptions. It was a trusted part of the Kittanning community known for going above and beyond to take care of customers when they needed it most. After being sold to Eckerd in 1999, the pharmacy sat vacant for nearly a decade.

In 2009 Jon Pratkanis, Richard’s son, brought the Hiland name back by reopening the pharmacy in its original West Kittanning location. Longtime patients quickly returned remembering the service, the trust and the name that stood for genuine community care.

Today Hiland Pharmacy is proudly operated by Jon and Mike Pratkanis PharmD continuing the family legacy with a focus on friendly service and modern pharmacy solutions. Whether it's answering questions, offering guidance or simply knowing your name, the team is committed to delivering care the way it should be.
